After long careers in public service and two successful businesses, my husband and I decided to retire in the mountains several years ago. We immediately fell in love with Lake Arrowhead’s beautiful trees, birds, wildlife and lakes. We feel like we are on vacation every day. We were impressed with the tight knit community that exists in Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs, Crestline, Twin Peaks and all the surrounding, smaller communities here in the mountains.

Wanting to be genuinely part of the community led to my involvement in volunteer work. I work with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as a Citizen's Volunteer at the Twin Peaks Station, Community Emergency Response Team and as a Fire Lookout Host for the forestry department. Through my volunteer activities, I am in tune with the area and I provide safety and protection for our mountain communities.
